Český Telecom - results of TelSource stake sale should be known on Friday

      Reuters cited source close to the sale of 27% stake in Cesky Telecom that the offering is oversubscribed. Nevertheless, the investment banks arranging the sale are still collecting the orders. The transaction should be completed by Friday including setting the price.

       Strong interest in the offering is positive news for the market. According to the latest news it seems that the shares held by TelSource will be sold during this round of the offering and consequently there will be no need to organize another round or sell the shares on the market. Another important factor that will influence the market is the sale price. Further development will depend on investors’ behavior after the offering is completed. If the investors decide to take profits, the shares will remain under pressure. Otherwise, the share price will return to the levels before the offering was announced. We believe that the second scenario is more likely.
