The Government of the Czech Republic has made a voluntary contribution of CZK 1,400,000 (approximately €57,000) towards several Council of Europe Action Plans and projects. This contribution will support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022 and its successor Action Plan, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023, the Council of Europe Action Plan on Protecting Vulnerable Persons in the Context of Migration and Asylum in Europe 2021-2025, as well as the activities of the Venice Commission.
The agreement was signed on 6 September 2022 by Ambassador Petr Válek, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjorn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
