Free Time in the District / Community Life and Sports

Prague 11 with the support of the Ministry of the Interior and mainly in cooperation with the Evangelical Church of John Milíč of Kroměříž (Donovalská 53) organizes regular community get-togethers “We’ll eat what we cook”. Would you like to take part in cooking or baking? Or just to come over? You are cordially invited! Contact person: ?????/Maria: +420 702 133 036. ? We invite you to the Prague 11 branches of the municipal library! You can find two branches here: Chodov branch: Jírovcovo náměstí 1782/1; Opatov branch: Opatovská 1754/14. The library has long been much more than just a place to borrow books; it’s a space where lots of cultural and educational activities take place (language courses, a book club, theatres, concerts, conversations with interesting people or art workshops) . ? The Opatov branch of the municipal library offers an “Art club”. The club is open to all children over the age of 5. The art club at the library is a nice place to do arts, chat and meet new friends. Do Ukrainian children have to attend Czech school? Yes, they do! Visit the doskolyspolecne.cz website and find all the practical information in one place. ? “Jak do školy na Praze 11”: skolstvijm.cz – a website with easy to access information about schools. ? Prague City Gallery (GHMP) offers entry to all exhibitions for 1 CZK for Ukrainian citizens. They also organize side events and educational programs for children and grownups free of charge with possible interpreting into Ukrainian. There are lots of events offered: concerts, tours, story reading, art workshops for kids and grownups. Don’t hesitate to have a look at the program and come have a look at interesting and beautiful places around Prague: ghmp.cz/ghmp-ukrajine. The events are free of charge and open to everyone. ?
