Andrey Popov appointed as Head of Bank of Russia Volga-Vyatka Main Branch (27.02.2026)

By the Order of the Bank of Russia Governor, effective 3 March 2026, Andrey Popov has been appointed as Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch of the Bank of Russia.

Andrey Popov, PhD in Economics, has been working at the Bank of Russia for around 30 years. In 2020, he was appointed Director of the Bank of Russia Market Services Department. The Bank of Russia further announces that Deputy Director Pavel Levin has been appointed as Acting Director of the said department.
