Eurostat’s Key figures on European business is back after a full revamp. The new edition features a more streamlined structure and exciting new indicators to give you the most comprehensive and up-to-date snapshot of business activity across the EU.

The 2026 edition includes a whole new chapter on globalisation. Dive into the world of international trade, with data on goods and services, multinational enterprise groups and foreign-affiliate statistics, and foreign direct investment.

The chapter on technology has been expanded with data on trade of critical raw materials and sold production of wind turbines. Analysing these topics is crucial for understanding geopolitical dependencies and their economic importance.

The tourism chapter now incorporates data on guest nights in short-stay accommodation booked via online booking platforms. This additional insight covers a crucial element of today’s tourism industry and complements the overall analysis, as seasonality, tourism flows and the structure of tourism activities were already covered.
