Although mostly beneficial rains will arrive from this Gulf Low, a myriad of prolonged hazards are also expected: gusty winds, high surf/rip current risk, and minor coastal flooding. Please review the graphics for more info.
Rain impacts: alleviate some drought concerns, but isolated heavy rain may induce localized runoff issues in urban/low-lying areas. Overall, flood concerns are low.
Wind Impacts: potential for downed trees/powerlines leading to some power outages where the highest gusts occur atop saturating grounds from rain.
Coastal impacts: potential for beach erosion from high surf, and minor inundation of 2-2.5 ft from coastal flooding of saltwater getting pushed by strong easterly winds.
Marine impacts: gale to near-gale conditions may capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
