If the warm front moves inland near the coast, there is a Marginal Risk of severe weather (level 1 of 5) from Apalachicola to Perry southward Wednesday night and Thursday. The main threats, should this happen, is damaging wind gusts and a couple brief tornadoes.
Gusty winds are possible across the area Wednesday night into Thursday, especially near the coast and offshore. Gale Watches are in effect for the waters west of Apalachicola beginning late Wednesday afternoon. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are forecast over land.
