COVID-19: Travel information to Czech Republic - Starting from 8. 11. 2021, Sweden is considered a country with a high-risk of COVID-19 transmission

Starting from 8. 11. 2021, Sweden is considered a country with a high-risk of COVID-19 transmission (red).

New regulations in the Czech Republic expected from November 22, 2021 will allow only vaccinated persons and persons recovered from Covid-19 to use accommodation, restauratns and other servises.

All travellers (12 years of age and older) must fill The electronic Public Health Passenger Locator Form available here https://plf.uzis.cz/

 

The list of laboratories providing the RT-PCR test in the Czech Republic can be found at https://koronavirus.mzcr.cz/seznam-odberovych-center/#menu.

 

Transit:

There is an obligation to present a proof of transit.

Transit by air up to 12 hours:

It is obligatory to neither fill in the Public Health Passenger Locator Form prior to the entry, nor to undergo an antigen or RT-PCR test prior or after the entry.

Transit by land up to 12 hours:

There is not obligation to have a written confirmation from an accredited laboratory of a negative result of an antigen or RT-PCR test before entering the Czech territory.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Always check the conditions for travel with your transport provider: airline, bus, boat, etc. Transport providers may apply their own rules with respect to COVID-19 testing.

 

!!! REGULATIONS EXPECTED IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM 22.11. 2021 !!!

Access to Accommodation and Services with Vaccination or Recovery Certificate Only

As of November 22, 2021, accommodation, restaurants, beauty and sports services and others will be accessible by fully vaccinated persons and persons recovered from Covid-19 only (with few exceptions, see below). The aim of this measure is to reverse the current rapid spread of Covid-19 in the Czech Republic.

The following services and places will be accessible by fully vaccinated persons or recovered persons only:

  • Restaurants
  • Accommodation provided publicly, such as hotels, B&Bs, Airbnb
  • Beauty services, such as hairdressers, cosmetics, pedicure / manicure
  • Sporting services and facilities, such as swimming pools, fitness and other indoor sporting
  • Organised public events

 

Valid vaccination certificate:

  • EU COVID Digital certificate
  • Third-country certificates that were recognized as equivalent to the EU COVID digital certificate
  • Recognized certificates from other countries

 

Valid certificate of recovery:

  • EU COVID Digital Certificate , no longer than 180 days after positive RT-PRC test
  • Third-country certificates that were recognized as equivalent to the EU COVID digital certificate

Exceptions apply to the following categories of persons, i.e. the following persons can access these facilities and services with a PCR test (valid for 72 hours):

  • Children and youngsters up to18 years of age
  • Persons with indicated contraindications to Covid-19 vaccines – this information must have been entered into their health records (Czech Information System on Communicable Diseases)
  • Persons who are in the process of being vaccinated and have received at least the first dose of the two-dose series
