Rules for entering the Czech Republic from 6th September 2021 - Slovenia labeled "Dark Red"

All persons who stayed in a "Dark Red" country longer than 12 hours in the last 14 days are obliged:

  1. To fill in the electronic Public Health Passenger Locator Form available at www.prijezdovyformular.cz.
  2. To provide a negative result of the RT-PCR test, which is not older than 72 hours before arrival - This point is not mandatory for persons presenting the Diplomatic Note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic stating the impossibility of conducting a test in own country, persons of the Czech citizenship and persons from the EU or third country with permanent or temporary residence in the Czech Republic;
  3. Provide, upon request, the confirmation of fulfillment of the Public Health Passenger Locator Form, the result of the RT-PCR testing or a written statement of an applicable exception.
  4. To undergo a RT-PCR test no sooner than on 5th day after arrival and not later than on 7th day after arrival. To wear the respirator (for example FFP2, KN95) as long as the person does not have the result of the RT-PCR test.

The PCR test may be replaced either by:

  1. Written confirmation of a physician that the person has undergone COVID-19 in the last 180 days and that no less than 11 days have passed since the outbreak of the disease.
  2. Vaccination in the EU+ country, if at least:
    • 14 days since the second dose in case of a double-dose scheme (incl. Astra Zeneca) have passed,
    • 14 days since the vaccination in case of a single-dose scheme have passed.

There is a list of exceptions with specific rules of entry:

  1. International transport workers,
  2. Transit up to 12 hours through the Czech Republic
  3. travelling by road or rail to or from the Czech Republic for a period not exceeding 12 hours; travelling from a country with a very high risk of infection (Slovenia) is possible only on the grounds listed in the protective measure of the Czech Ministry of Health
  4. Diplomats and international organization officials traveling for business purpose - the stay in / outside of the Czech territory not exceeding 72 hours
  5. Children below the age of 6 and persons with mental disability with medical proof;
  6. Cross-border workers, pupils and students working or studying in the neighbouring countries
  7. Policemen performing escort activities or security escort of aircraft
  8. Members of the critical infrastructure working in the interest of the Czech Republic
  9. Persons up to the age of 12
