Conditions for entry to the Czech Republic valid from September 11, 2021

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL: Step-by-step guide on quarantine measures

ACTUAL SITUATION IN ENTERING THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM POLAND:

Poland was recognized as a country with a low risk of COVID-19 infection, and travelers from Poland can arrive in the Czech Republic under two conditions:

- filled in Passenger Locator form (https://plf.uzis.cz/)

- negative test: antigen (not older 48 hours) / RT PCR (not older 72 hours) before arrival or after arrival (not later than 5th day)

Excemptions are mentioned bellow.

 

The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are defined by the Ministry of Health (pdf, 638 kB). List of countries with a low, medium and high risk of COVID-19 transmission is HERE (pdf, 216 kB). List of countries with an extreme risk of COVID-19 transmission is HERE (pdf, 360 kB). Information regarding entry to other countries is the responsibility of the embassies in the countries of destination and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Quarantine measures and RT-PCR test conditions are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.

The activities of diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic are gradually resumed. Depending on the epidemiological situation, the conditions for entry into the Czech Republic will also be gradually relaxed. Rules for entry and return to the Czech Republic (as of September 11th, 2021)
- citizens of Czechia and foreign nationals with residence permit issued by Czechia
- citizens of EU+ and foreign nationals with long-term or permanent residence permit issued by EU+

- 3rd-country nationals who do not have any residence permit issued by Czechia or long-term or permanent residence permit issued by other EU+ country
- 3rd-country nationals who have a short-term visa issued by Czechia before 11th May 2020 or short-term or long-term visa issued by other EU+ country

HOW DO I FIND A TEST SITE?

There is a test site at the Václav Havel International Airport in Prague.

Refer to the LIST OF TEST SITES (https://koronavirus.mzdr.cz/seznam-odberovych-center/). (Note: The list is available in Czech only. Ask your inviting party to help you find the nearest test site.)

Plan ahead and schedule your test appointment before you travel.

You may also seek assistance with the coronavirus help line 1221 (Mo-Fri 8 am - 7 pm and Sat-Sun 9 am 4:30 pm) or with the help line of the Ministry of Health: + 420 224 972 222 (Mo-Fri 9 am - 5 pm), e-mail verejnost@mzcr.cz.
