New measures from September 6, 2021 - Rules for travel from Estonia to the Czech Republic after September 6, 2021.

Estonia is a "red" country.

Travellers from Estonia (EU citizens or foreigners with a permanent residence permit in any EU country) can enter the Czech Republic for any reason.

However, they ALL have to fill in an electronic Public Health Passenger Locator Form before crossing the Czech border (there is no time limit when to fill in the Form).

After that, travellers from Estonia

a) by a plane, train or bus:

- before crossing the Czech border, they have to undergo a PCR test (not earlier than 72 hours) or an antigen test (not earlier than 48 hours)

- after arrival to the Czech Republic, between the 5th and 14th day, they have to undergo a PCR test. Than until receiving its negative result, they have to stay in a self-isolation.

b) by a car:

- after arrival to the Czech Republic, between the 5th and 14th day, they have to undergo a PCR test. Than until receiving its negative result, they have to stay in a self-isolation.

Children travelling from Estonia:

- if younger than 6 years, no need to fill in the Form or undergo the PCR test

- if between 6 and 12 years, the Form and the RCR test (before the 5th day after crossing the Czech border!) is necessary.

ONLY the obligation of filling in the Form apply to a person

- fully vaccinated (with at least 14 days after a second dose or, in a case of a one-dose vaccine, with at least 14 days after this dose) holding a national certificate issued in any EU country

- recovered from Covid-19 (with a first positive result at least 11 days ago and no more than 180 days) holding a national certificate issued in any EU country.

TRANSIT through the Czech Republic of travellers from "green/orange/red" countries: no need to fill in the Form or undergo the PCR test, if the transit takes less than 12 hours.
