BEFORE YOU TRAVEL: Travel restrictions for arriving to the Czech Republic from Jordan and recognition of vaccination certificates

From 2 August Jordan is considered a low risk country. For detailed information please check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Rules for vaccinated travellers

For a vaccinated person is considered any traveller with a vaccination certificate recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic that are vaccinated by vaccine certified by European Medicines Agency (EMA) or by those that is recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency use - for details regarding certified vaccines please visit the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic (in Czech).

In practice the certified vaccines are:

? AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)

? Moderna (Spikevax)

? Pfizer BioNTech (Comirnaty)

? Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)

? Covishield

The Jordanian vaccination certificate is also recognized. The exemption only applies for travellers with vaccines listed above.

For holders of these vaccination certificates the only obligation for entry to the Czech Republic is to fill in the Arrival form.
